After hotel pickup, we’ll head to Teotihuacan, Mexico’s «City of the Gods.» Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it was once a prosperous city. Hear about its mysterious origins from your guide, who tells you stories about its former residents and theories about the city’s decline.

During this informative tour, see temples, world-famous attractions like the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun, which you can climb for incredible views. Explore the intricate murals and stone-carved designs at the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, where you can see first-hand the latest archaeological finds. Then stop at an obsidian workshop to sample spirits made from cacti and hear how local families keep traditional crafts alive.

Diego Rivera was chosen to decorate the walls of the former ex-convent of the «Divino Verbo», converted during the government of Álvaro Obregón del Divino Verbo, converted during the government of Álvaro Obregón into the Secretariat of Public Education.

We enter the Patio de los Trabajos. It is impossible to find a space free of paint; Rivera occupied everything. In fact, from floor to ceiling he expressed his interpretation of our pre-Hispanic heritage, the distribution of land and the dignified treatment of workers and peasants. There are more than 150 murals.

Shortly before the inauguration of the majestic Palacio de Bellas Artes in 1934, several Mexican muralists with international recognition received the official commission to paint on the walls of said enclosure.

This building, which stands intact on Juarez Avenue in the Historic Center of the city, is the maximum house of artistic and cultural expression in Mexico City.

It is a space that accommodates exhibitions, dance shows, plays and more. Its museum, which opened at the same time as the building, was the first museum in Mexico. And undoubtedly the most important works of this place, are the murals that adorn the walls, and that were run by different Mexican artists.
